Thank you so much Diane. It seems like many of the early birds commenting on my site went to spam. I don’t know why.

On days when I visit lots of blogs and leave comments, WordPress thinks I’m spamming. I end up there a lot! No worries. 🙂

Thank you so much Diane for your encouragement and helpful comment. I am sorry I replied so late but your comment was put in spam perhaps because you were among the first to comment. This site has had some initial issues.

I read another book on misusing statistics and common pitfalls, but it was such a long time ago I forget the name of the book. I did not know what you say about google (chrome) and safari. Thanks for the info da-AL.

I never used reader until I found that using it solves the problem of having to open google rather than safari to comment and like. The data detective by Tim Hartford was good. I forget the name of the other one

Yes you are right. It is very easy to misuse statistics and there are some common error. Statistics could probably be a good source of super facts that I had not considered yet. I sometimes have problem with liking and commenting too but like you say it works better with the reader. I have to admit I don’t really like using the reader though.

I think most of us are aware of them, but don’t really know what to do about it since the issues are often so much bigger than the individual. I really enjoyed the two lists. It was nice to see the positive externalities. 🙂

And great new site, Thomas. It seems to be working well!
